Guidelines for abstracts

Abstracts for oral presentation and posters must be written in English and adhere to the following format:

  • Times New Roman, font 10, single-space, no blank lines
  • Abstract body must be strictly limited to 1850 characters
  • The title should be brief and concise, no more than 20 words.
Order the abstract as follows:
  • Objective
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusions
Add up to 5 Keywords


Deadline for abstract submission: 3 February 2012


All accepted abstracts will be selected either for oral presentation or poster. Only online submission is possible. Please read the guidelines carefully before submission.

Selected abstracts will be published in the Journal of Psychosomatic Research.

Abstracts received after 30 January will not be published.

Submission, step by step

  1. Please enter your name, title, affiliation, e-mail address and names of co-authors in the provided boxes.
  2. Select preferred presentation type: Oral presentation or poster.
  3. Please mention symposium title in the appropriate box if your presentation is part of a specific / already suggested symposium. You may also mention the names of the other presenters.
  4. Choose a topic from the list.
  5. Type in the abstract title.
  6. Type in / paste the abstract body.
  7. You will receive an automatic e-mail as confirmation of receipt.

All abstracts will be peer-reviewed by members of the International Scientific Committee. Notifications about acceptance/rejection of the abstract will be sent by e-mail by 30 April 2012.
